i210 - External oscillator - Xtal2 pin connection

Hi,

I have a question with regards to the Xtal2 pin connection on the i210 Ethernet Controller.
As recommended we are using a 3.3V oscillator with a capacitive divider circuit but the connection diagram puzzles me.

11.6.5.2 External Clock Oscillator Specifications (Page 794, DS 2.7)

Pin XTAL2 (output) is connected to ground! I assume it is a mistake as I doubt the output driver should be shorted to ground.

Please confirm or explain otherwise?
